I love seeing the "aha" moment in a student's eyes. Seeing and being resonsible for student acheivement motivates me to better myself and to better others. I have always been an excellent student. I carried this attitude over to the military as well. I deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Colombia. My experiences have taken me all over the world and I believe this has made me very well rounded and aware. There are many different ways for students to learn and I always try to hone in how I can best grab a student's attention. Once I have their attention I think its much easier to get the information across to the student.

I am engaged and have two stepchildren. There is always a fair amount of stuff going on at home but I find having a balance between work life and home life results in a great equilibrium for me. I enjoy working out when I can and spending time with my family and friends. Sports, especially football are also a huge part of my life. I like to read and learn new things about the world as well.
