After being awarded the master's degrees in Business Administration, English, and English as a Foreign Language by the Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany), I pursued a career in the field of Comparative Education. As a result of this work experience, I worked as a language specialist developing textbooks and curricula for the English classroom. After relocating to the United States, I attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, and graduated with a master's in German. My time working as a teacher culminated in working in a doctoral program at LaSalle University, which resulted in being awarded the Ph.D. in the field of education.

Since my childhood, I have loved reading books, especially those that included an insight into what the world and people make tick. I am interested in history, culture, languages, geography. I like to play chess, watch a good movie and like to walk and enjoy nature. Classical music, country, and dance music belong to my music preferences.
