Education
Currently enrolled as a Biology (Pre-Med) Major at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Graduated from Copperas Cove High School, 2015, with a 4.17 GPA and in the Top 3% of my class.
Experience
650 Reading SAT. 660 Math SAT. 600 Writing SAT. I have prior experience tutoring grades 6-8 during high school. All throughout high school I have taken AP, Pre-AP, and Dual Credit courses. I received a 3 on AP US History and AP World History, and a 4 on both AP English Composition tests. I have always been ahead one math class, and earned a 4.0 in two college courses: Contemporary Algebra and Statistics, my senior year of high school. I am currently enrolled in Honors Biology, and have tested out of Basic Chemistry and enrolled in General Chemistry. I was a HOSA Texas State Finalist, earning the 2nd highest score in the state for the healthcare issues exam. I was a HOSA National Competitor, and was one of only two students from my school to represent Texas at California. I graduated in the top 3% of my class, #15 out of 530 with a 4.17 GPA and 3.8 unweighed GPA. I have volunteered for a local nursing home and local library over the past few years, and am a licensed CNA. I enjoy tutoring because it feels amazing to watch how children grasp the concepts and theories of certain subjects. Seeing that moment when it all "clicks" is absolutely priceless.

Hobbies
I enjoy staying active, and absolutely love soccer. I am pretty light-hearted and love to bring a sense of excitement to learning. I do not believe in negative reinforcement, which I find to be absolutely unacceptable in a learning environment. I come off friendly and do my best to get the student involved, and more importantly excited, to begin their learning experience. I try to allow the student to pace themselves, and I will generally focus on the overall concepts of different subjects to ensure a sound foundation for more advanced studies is built.
