I am a certified teacher with a Master's degree from Florida State University. I have recently obtained my Texas teaching credentials for elementary grades. I arrived mid-year and do not have a full-time teaching job yet. I miss teaching and want to find an outlet for my skills until I am back in the classroom. I love anything artistic and creative. I'm illustrating my first children's book right now. My medium of choice right now is watercolor and colored pencil. I love to read and like helping students find their way to loving reading too. I love traveling and have lived in Japan and England. I have lots of interesting experiences to share.
