I'm a tutor who is based out of San Antonio, Texas, where I enjoy cooking, watching college basketball, and listening to music when I'm not working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in biology from Duke University where I also received minors in chemistry and education. After graduating from Duke, I spent time working as a second grade teacher in San Antonio, where I taught a diverse range of subjects. Some of the areas that I'm able to tutor students in are algebra, math, reading, writing, and standardized test preparation. I have experience working as a private tutor, and have spent many hours working with high school students on their math and science coursework. I've also spent time working as a private tutor for students grades PreK - 8 in all subject areas. I'm extremely passionate about education, and part of the reason why I love working with students so much is because I like instilling that passion for learning in them.
