I studied economics at Oberlin College, where I also tutored in the writing center to help students develop solid writing skills. My experience as an educator also includes teaching aikido and tutoring economic development and music theory. I spent a long time explain complex concepts in ways that are easier to understand, and I know that students are learning successfully when they can explain those ideas back to me. I tutor calculus, statistics, economics, business, finance, microeconomics, macroeconomics, test preparation, music theory, writing, essays, English, and others. In my spare time, I like to play the violin and tend my garden.
