Current, licensed teacher in English Language Arts for grades 6-12. 15 years tutoring and teaching experience (grades 6-12) in English Languages Arts (Literature, Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary), SAT prep, and AP prep. As a current teacher in the public school system, and, considering the current landscape with the advent of the Core Curriculum, the STAAR, and EOC tests (all with different preparatory methods), I have to be up to date with the state requirements. Because of this vantage point, I am uniquely poised to streamline the focus of the unguided, apathetic, or otherwise unprepared student to excel in the too-often muddled environment of overcrowded classes and intractable bureaucracies of the public school system. I believe that every student is capable of greatness, and with compassion and determination, coupled with expert knowledge of the current, complicated educational requirements, we can successfully address any issue.
