I practiced law for 25+ years and gained a vast amount of experience in litigation, court processes, alternative dispute resolution, and all other aspects of the law one would expect in litigation. This includes analytical ability which is crucial to thinking like a lawyer. Along those lines, I have trained a fair amount of paralegals to new levels of competency, and mentored college age students with higher education goals. I seem to be good at it, in that I can explain or simplify concepts so that they are not so abstract, and become easier to grasp and learn. I do enjoy it, and would like to take it to the next logical step.
