Experience
I graduated from the University of Texas, San Antonio, with my Bachelor of Arts in English. I then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix-Kapolei. I have worked in many different educational settings in the last ten years. I am lucky to have worked in a variety of public schools, charter schools, and year-round schools. I have spent time analyzing writing and literature to help students prepare for their tests (such as the ACT or SAT). I greatly enjoy helping with standardized tests the most, and I'm very knowledgeable in the area of testing.I believe that education is made to help people gain knowledge, as well as explore and discover experiences. In addition, education helps learners with the ability of critical thinking to help solve many of life's problems; whether that be in the work or in the community. I believe teaching these skills helps anybody to learn and to follow their dreams. It opens up opportunities to help earn degrees, with daily life, or with their future employment. I believe that as a life-long learner, you never stop having these experiences and never stop growing.Whenever I get free time, I love to bowl, watch plays, and I love to read.
