I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am especially proud that I was able to graduate with honors despite carrying a heavy 15-hour course load while working as an undergraduate grader in British Literature. I was able to work with for over 100 freshmen and sophomore students while still keeping my grades at top-level. Once I earned my undergraduate degree, I extended my education by earning a master's in English Literature from the University of Texas as well. I am adept at tutoring any category of literature. Since English and History courses often run parallel to each other, I am also a proficient history tutor. I'm great at helping students of all ages with academic research, reading, writing, editing, test preparation, and general studying. Students will find me a patient and adaptable teacher. My academic background, along with my experience in corporate training and grading, equips me with the skill set of a superior tutor. I spend my leisure time reading, writing, enjoying my family, my dog, and watching college football. Bettering lives through education is my mantra, and I plan to spend my lifetime contributing to the field.
