I love helping people write. I have worked with a non-profit organization for a few years teaching high school students and young adults sentence structure, essay format and creative writing. I have volunteered at my school as a writing mentor and have met and helped several awesome students. I've only taken 3 classes in English/writing since it is not my main focus of study. In 2012 I won an essay contest at SAC writing on our president of the United States. I believe writing is a powerful tool for communication, connection and creativity. I want to be a tutor because helping people makes me happy.
