Experience

To begin, I am interested in tutoring because of my experience helping friends, family members and classmates on their homework assignments. I am bilingual in Spanish and English (my first language being Spanish), and I excel in math. As a current engineering student, I have completed math courses up to Differential Equations. I tutor math up to Calculus II. I can teach abstract math concepts in simple terms so that students who have trouble reading textbooks will understand and even enjoy the subject matter. In addition, I tutor in the Solidworks CAD program, which I have used extensively in a summer internship at my university. I also assist with essay writing by proof reading and helping make transitions more cohesive. I am passionate about the French language and tutor College French I & II. I have completed 4 college level courses and keep up to date by immersion in the language when I can. Finally, I have played guitar since age 12. As a result I enjoy teaching beginner guitar lessons (which include basic music theory such as music reading and chord formation).
