Experience
I attended Arizona State University where I acquired my bachelor's degree of science in microbiology. While I have a love of science, I also have a love for mathematics. Both are two of my absolute favorite subjects to teach. I have been tutoring and teaching for quite some time now. I have great experience and varied in these fields. For example, I taught in Taiwan. I found this particular experience to be extremely rewarding. I was not always as passionate about teaching as I am today. My love for teaching really started when I became a substitute teacher for the local school district. The passion for teaching only grew when I lived in Taiwan and began working with students there. Besides teaching and tutoring in math and science, I also have experience tutoring the subjects of English and writing. As for my teaching style, I believe that learning should always be innovative and fun. No two students are alike. Therefore, I tailor my lessons to accommodate each individual. I also believe that respect is mandatory in a student teacher setting. When I am not busy tutoring and teaching, I enjoy traveling. I have lived in Japan, Taiwan, and many other places. I have even learned the Mandarin language. I enjoy visiting museums and taking bike rides with my family. I also have a love for board games and chess.
