Experiences--have tutored in the mornings before school where I help students with their homework; also have tutored lower performing students these past two years in math, reading, and writing after school I want to be a tutor because I thoroughly enjoy teaching students. Teaching is my passion, and my passion carries over into my instruction as I bring positivity into everything I do. I also believe it of the utmost importance to give positive feedback any time it is appropriate. I strive to make learning fun because it is my personal experience that students learn best when they are not even aware they are learning. I have four years experience in teaching at the elementary level, two years as a substitute and two years as a fourth grade special education teacher. I completed my Master's program at Texas State University where I took classes in classroom management, special education, and differentiation in instruction.
