My education includes studying French language and literature at the Universite de Nantes, France and completing most of the courses for PhD in Computer Science at Texas A&M. I have completed the following degrees with areas studied: Valparaiso University, French, Mathematics, English, 3.5, 1970. Northern Illinois University, English, Education, Linguistics, TESOL, 3.9, 1982. Northern Illinois University, Computer Science, Education, 3.5, 1985.
Experience
In addition to private tutoring, my 10 years of classroom teaching experience includes middle school math; high school math, English and French; college English, ESL and computer science. I have helped students prepare for a variety of exams including the GRE and GMAT; I myself had very high scores (99th percentile) on PSAT, SAT, (National Merit Finalist), GRE (760 verbal, 790 math). I have experience in private tutoring at all K-14 levels from young children with ADHD and ADD in K-3 through college math and writing and graduate students preparing a thesis.
