Hi there. I graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Mathematics in May 2012. My GPA upon graduation was a 3.88. I relocated to San Antonio to begin my career as a teacher with NISD and have been with the district for three years. I am currently studying for the GMAT in hopes of returning to school for a Masters in Professional Accounting.
Experience
For two years while at UT, I tutored undergraduate students in Calculus through the UT Learning Center. I left my job as a tutor to become a learning assistant for a UT Math class. I held office hours, attended class, and graded homework. I also completed the UTeach teacher training program. I am a certified teacher in Mathematics grades 8-12. Post graduation, I relocated to San Antonio and taught Geometry for a year at Brennan High School. Since then, I have relocated to Rawlinson Middle School and am currently on my third year teaching Math 8 and Algebra 1. I love my job, coworkers, and all of my Rawlinson Patriots.
