Education

Bachelors Degree in Spanish from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Graduated December 2003 Bachelors Degree in Information Systems from University of Texas at San Antonio. Graduated December 2009

Experience

My education started in Mexico where I studied until my first semester of high School at Preparatoria #24 in Anáhuac, Nuevo Léon. When I was 15 I came to the United States to continue my education in Victoria, TX where I Attendted Stroman High School for my Sophomore year. For my Junior year I went to Moody High School in Corpus Christi, TX and completed my public high school career. I began looking for alternative options and I decided to joined the Laredo Job Corps Center (LJC) where I finished with a Basic Business Training certification. While at LJC I was able to get my GED in 1998 and in the same year I registered at Laredo Community College. By 2001 I had finished all the core curriculum and I was able to transfer to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). In December 2003 I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Spanish and then in 2008 I decided to go back to UTSA and finish my second bachelors degree in Information Systems and graduated in December 2009. From 2004 to 2005 I enrolled in the Masters program for Spanish Literature but never got the opportunity to finish. I started UTSA in August 2001 and completed my Spanish Bachelors Degree in December 2003 with 3.0 GPA. On January of 2004, I started with my Masters in Spanish Literature and while in graduate school, I found a job opportunity with a Spanish newspaper which at the time was named RUMBO. I worked there as a production manager and backup IT specialist for 3 years until a new opportunity arrived. In Summer 2008 I decided to finish with my second Bachelors Degree in Information Systems. I enrolled in school full time and I was able to graduate in December 09. I have worked as a Spanish tutor and essay translator: from speeches sourced from the University of Texas at Austin for a presentation in Mexico City (in the Universidad Autónoma de México) to Medical documents and presentations for private organizations

Hobbies

I like to watch movies, travel anywhere with no plans head. I would love to learn how to take better photos. I also like interior design, currently we are remodeling our new house where we make custom concrete countertops and other pieces ourselves. I also enjoy board games and any type of puzzel.
