I graduated magna cum laude from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2014 with a degree in elementary education. I graduated in 4 years with a GPA of 3.75. I did undergrad work and my student teaching internship in San Antonio, Tx where I later was hired as a teacher.
Experience
I tutored students throughout my college education. Once graduated, I accepted a teaching position teaching for a local public school district. I taught 3rd grade and 4th grade. I had the opportunity to work with a student one on one for half of the year outside of school in addition to teaching. I realized how much I loved working with a smaller student to teacher ratio. I loved seeing the growth and interest the student had realized how much I could offer other children.
