Experience
As a tutor, I think that understanding the material is more crucial than memorizing information. I am well-versed in many subjects, but my favorite things to teach and help with are math and Mandarin. Chinese is my native language and love to share it with others. Subjects I tutor in include algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and English. I can also dig into my experience and help people with principal economics and helping to prepare for important standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, ISEE, and STAAR.Currently, I am an undergraduate at Trinity University. Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science was my high school, where I graduated from with a diploma in addition to 2 years of college credits. It has been important to me, throughout my academic career, to have a solid area in any academic area. Being a tutor helps me fulfill that belief. Aside from tutoring and excelling in school, I am also a first violinist in the Trinity Symphony Orchestra. I have been playing the violin since the age of 5 and it has been important to me as a musician and performance artist. Plus, I enjoy sports, volunteering, traveling, and spending quality time and relaxing with friends.
